They say necessity is the mother of invention. I definitely didn’t need a blog, though. And the world didn’t need my blog either. At least… not then. But now it exists, and all sorts of people I don’t even know get worried sick when I’m not around. It’s like having 50 Jewish grandmothers. I should know, I’ve got one already. I think the statement is backwards. Maybe invention is the mother of necessity, instead. Maybe now, my blog needs me.
